Swirl Works LLC (together with Swirl, us, our and we, "Swirl") cares deeply about privacy, and is committed to being transparent about how we use your personal information at SwirlWorks.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains our privacy practices for the Site, including registration for activities and events, payment processing and other services available here (the "Services"). Your right to privacy is very important to us. We recognize that when you choose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner. We believe this information should only be used to help us provide you with better service. We have put this policy in place to describe our practices regarding information that you disclose to us. We hope that this policy will enable you to make an informed decision when asked to disclose information for Swirl registration or other purposes. This policy may change from time to time so please check back periodically. This policy applies only to Swirl. It does not apply to any third parties who may also collect or receive data in connection with your use of the Services.

This policy discloses the privacy practices for the Site. As part of the normal operation of the Site, we collect and, in some cases, disclose information about you. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect about you and what may happen to that information.
- Personally Identifiable Information that We Collect
¤ Registration Information. In providing our Services, we collect your personal information directly from you when you complete our forms to register for a workshop or other event, or to reserve our workshop venue for your own event.
¤ Email: We place email links on this site to allow you to contact us directly. The information you provide is used to respond directly to your questions or comments. We may also use your comments to improve the site and our Services, or review and discard the information.
¤ Billing Information. We collect billing and payment information (including billing contact name, address, telephone number, credit card information), a telephone number, and/or a physical postal address, when you purchase an item from our Site, submit payment for an event or submit an application to reserve our workshop venue. This may be required in order for us to provide a particular Service, such as to deliver an item that you purchase on our Site. For example, we need a physical postal address if you are buying something on the Site for delivery.
¤ Information Provided Indirectly or from Others. We obtain information indirectly from you based on your activity while using our Services, from artisans and workshop providers that help provide Swirl Services.
¤ Automated Data Capture: Swirl or its service providers may automatically track certain information about your use of the Site, including information from the browser you use to access the Services, log IP addresses or other information for system administration purposes, and to monitor any illegal use of the Services. This information will be analyzed to constantly improve the value of Services available on the web sites. Swirl automatically receives and records browser information, such as cookies, your IP address or unique device identifier, and data about the pages you visit when you visit the Site, in order to allow us to operate and provide the Services. This information is collected automatically.
¤ Data from Artisans in our Community. We may receive information about you from artisans in our community whose skills and products we may highlight. This may include customer service, order information, billing or payment information, or shipping information.
- Use of Your Personally Identifiable Information
¤ Use by Swirl: We will primarily use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide the Services to you. We also use Personally Identifiable Information to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, analyze site usage, to improve our site and service offers, and to customize our site. We may use Personally Identifiable Information to deliver information to you and to contact you regarding administrative notices. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our agreements with you, including our Terms of Use, and this Privacy Policy.
- Do I get to choose what information I disclose through the Sites?
You can always choose whether or not to disclose information through the Site. Certain information is required for registration on the Site, but other information is optional and may be given at your discretion. Swirl sites will not provide any personal information that specifically identifies you to third parties to use for direct advertising or promotional purposes unless you give Swirl permission for this.
- Who has access to my personal information?
We store all the information we gather from you in secure databases. Swirl may contract with third parties to provide content and services to our users through the Site, though only under obligations of strict confidentiality regarding your Personally Identifiable Information.
We also collect and maintain personal information which is useful for compiling aggregate user profile data, such as geographic information, role-related information and zip code. This aggregate data is used for market analysis. The Site contains links to members of our artisan community and we strive to ensure that their web sites adhere to similar privacy policies, though we cannot guaranty it. The Site may also contain links to other web sites. Swirl is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites. Other information about your usage may be automatically logged, such as IP address, Internet service provider, and browser type in order to analyze usage trends and broad demographic information.
- Legal Disclosures
Swirl may disclose Personally Identifiable Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to prevent injury or property damage. We may attempt to notify you when we are making such a disclosure, but we may not do so in an emergency or when we are prohibited by law or court order from giving such notice.
- Your Passwords
You should never disclose your password to any third parties. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your Personally Identifiable Information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.
