In this team-building experience, participants will:
Discover a range of fragrance notes spanning eight key fragrance families
Learn how a fragrance comes together and what makes a blend feel balanced
Select favorite notes from a curated palette of high-quality fragrance materials
Blend and take home a custom 15 ml fragrance you create yourself
Locations
Allied Arts Guild, Menlo Park
Ideal for interactive team-building experiences of up to 24 guests in our garden courtyard (weather permitting), or in our studio at 75 Arbor Road, Menlo Park.
Rosewood Sand Hill
Intimate team experiences for up to 16 guests in a private dining room, subject to Rosewood food and beverage minimums. Larger group spaces are available.
Partner Restaurants, Menlo Park
Elevated restaurant settings for groups of up to 40 guests, with food and beverage minimums determined by each venue.
Venue of Your Choice
We’re happy to bring this interactive team-building experience to a venue of your choice.
Larger group activities and mixers can also be accommodated through our Event Fragrance Bar, designed to scale while maintaining a polished, engaging experience.

Dining options vary by venue and can be tailored to your group and event style. We’re happy to help coordinate dining details to ensure the experience flows seamlessly alongside your fragrance session.

Allied Arts Guild:
Guests are welcome to bring their own food. We can also arrange simple boxed lunches from a nearby local restaurant (such as casual Mexican fare), or coordinate catering through our on-site retail partner, Café Wisteria.
Rosewood Sand Hill:
A range of food and beverage options are available on-site through Rosewood, subject to venue minimums.
Partner Restaurants:
Our restaurant partners offer a wide variety of food and wine options, with menus and minimums set by each venue.

2. How many people can participate?
Group size depends on the venue and format. Interactive team-building sessions are ideal for smaller groups (<25), while larger groups and mixers can be accommodated using our Event Fragrance Bar. We’re happy to recommend the best setup based on your goals and guest count.

3. How long is the experience?
Most corporate experiences are designed to fit comfortably within a two-hour window, though timing can be adjusted to align with your agenda, meals, or other programming.

4. Is this a good activity for men, too?
Yes. Men consistently love this experience. Many enjoy creating a scent they enjoy, whether they’re longtime fragrance fans or completely new to it. At its core, the experience is about scent, memory, and connection, and everyone has a nose.

5. Do participants need any fragrance experience?
No prior fragrance knowledge is needed. The experience is designed to be intuitive, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone.

6. Is the experience safe?
Yes. We work with carefully curated, high-quality fragrance materials and are mindful of sensitivities and overall well-being. Safety and comfort are always top priorities. We adhere to European safety standards governed by IFRA (International Fragrance Regulatory Association). To be sure, guest should always test for sensitivity before using fragrance.

7. Will the fragrances be overpowering?
No. The experience is designed to be light and approachable, not overwhelming. In fact, our founder and perfumer is prone to headaches herself, so the palette is intentionally balanced and gentle.

8. Will this give me a headache?
Very unlikely. We avoid heavy, overly strong scents and create an environment where guests can take breaks, move at their own pace, and engage comfortably.

9. What if I don’t usually wear fragrance?
That’s completely fine. Many guests who don’t typically wear perfume or cologne still enjoy the process and the personal nature of creating something that feels subtle and true to their preferences.

10. What do guests take home?
Each participant creates and takes home a custom 15 ml fragrance they design, name, and label themselves.
